Thank You Today!

Good morning Lord.  Thank You for a clear mind today.  Sometimes I want to feel more relaxed, or want to escape, or to be something other than I am naturally…something other than my normal.  I don’ know why, Lord, but these thoughts enter my mind at times.  Today I am clean, sober, and with a sound mind for almost 25 years.  What a miracle worker You are…I stand in awe of You again today.

• My thoughts are clear
• My body is well
• My relations are good and loving
• My communion with You is unhindered
• And my life is blessed beyond measure…all because I have You!

Why would I choose, knowingly, to partake or do anything that would hinder this perfect union between you and me?  Wow!  What I have with You is the best that this life has to offer this side of heaven.  My emptiness and Your abundance is the perfect match!  All I can say to this reality is “Thank You”.

Thank You for Saving me.  Thank You for healing me.  Thank You for loving me.  Thank You for Blessing me.  Thank You for making me whole by Your Holy Spirit that dwells in me.

Thank You that You take sinful desires away from me when I simply ask for Your help.  Thank You that You are enough, that Your grace is sufficient, and that You provide a way to escape ALL temptations when I look to You, the author and finisher of my faith. 

Thank You that You give life to dead things; purpose to aimless things; meaning to undefined things; and value to worthless things!  Thank You that You are not just the Giver of Good Gifts, but You are the Gift; You are the Prize; and You are the Great Reward!

Thank You for clothing me with Your righteousness today.  Thank You that I am nothing apart from You. 

There is no love in me except the love I have in You; there is no good in me except the good I have in You; there is no joy in me except the joy I have in You; there is no hope in me except the hope I find in You! 

• I feel Your presence
• I believe Your promises
• I long for Your embrace
• I need Your power
• I delight in Your Word
• I depend upon Your Spirit
• I call upon Your Name.

And as a result, I LIVE COMPLETE!

Oh, and I have I told You lately that I Love You Now and Forever?  If not, I love You Lord!  You are my everything.
